- The BCCI announced on Thursday that Anukul Roy has been added to the 15-player India A squad for the tri-series in Dambulla as a replacement for Harsh Dubey.

- Roy is a left-arm spin-bowling all-rounder from Jharkhand who has played regularly for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2026 and took eight wickets in the season.
- Harsh Dubey’s promotion to India’s senior Test and ODI squads for the home Afghanistan series created the vacancy and he is one of three uncapped players named in the senior selections.
