ANSES Clarifies Which Social-Security Procedures Are Fully Digital

The agency says moving routine transactions to Mi ANSES and Atención Virtual using CUIL and the Clave will reduce office visits, speed processing for millions of beneficiaries.

Overview

  • ANSES confirmed a defined set of transactions can be completed entirely online through the Mi ANSES app, the web portal or Atención Virtual, including payslip checks, many family and childhood allowances, unemployment claims, the start of Pensión No Contributiva por Invalidez, and changes of obra social or payment method.
  • Users must log in with their CUIL and the Clave de la Seguridad Social to start requests and can follow case status and history inside the app or on the website while ANSES may request extra documents during processing.
  • To create or recover the Clave users follow the 'Creá tu clave' or 'Olvidé mi clave' flows in Mi ANSES and must answer security questions; after three failed attempts ANSES requires the person to present to an office without a prior turno to validate identity and generate the clave.
  • Transactions that need original-document checks, handwritten signatures or interviews still require booking a turno online, and beneficiaries may choose any ANSES office for the appointment regardless of the address on their DNI.
  • The shift should cut office congestion and speed routine cases but depends on users having internet access and secure credentials, so people without devices or a working Clave may still face delays in getting benefits.
