ANMAT Bans Seven Coffee Products Nationwide Over Fake Sanitary Registrations

The measure follows an INAL probe that uncovered falsified registrations at a San Justo fractionation plant.

Overview

  • Disposición 8385/2025, signed by ANMAT head Nélida Agustina Bisio, orders an immediate prohibition on elaboration, fractionation and sale across Argentina, including online platforms.
  • The ban covers products from Caffé del Doge, Café Sol and Caffé del Ponte Rialto—such as Doge Rosso Blend, multiple Café Sol “Línea Baristas” variants, Intenso Blend and Expresso Café Crema.
  • ANMAT classified the items as apocryphal after inspectors found nonexistent or third‑party RNE/RNPA numbers, illegible data and missing lot or expiry information.
  • Authorities traced the supply to a San Justo plant identified as Café Sol that lacked valid establishment and product registrations, intervened stock and took samples.
  • Administrative proceedings were opened against Caffé del Doge Argentina – Junio 1995 SRL and the Café Sol operator, and any product bearing RNPA EXP. No. 4050-141467 is expressly banned nationwide.
