Animal Kingdom Moves Donald, Daisy and Goofy Meet-and-Greet to Wildlife Express Station
The shift follows the closure of Rafiki’s Planet Watch during preparations for a Bluey-themed experience.
Overview
- With the Wildlife Express Train out of service, Disney has repurposed its station as a meet-and-greet spot for Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Goofy.
- Timon and Rafiki, previously at Rafiki’s Planet Watch, are now greeting guests in The Oasis near the park entrance.
- Rafiki’s Planet Watch remains closed as work continues on a Bluey-themed offering that is driving the broader operational reshuffle.
- Affection Section, the park’s petting zoo in that area, is slated to be reimagined with Australian animals to align with the new theme.
- Guests can meet all three classic characters together at the station backdrop, with appearance times listed in the My Disney Experience app.
