Overview
- Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said a Bill to give legal sanctity to Amaravati as the state capital will be introduced when Parliament’s Budget session opens on January 28.
- Lawmakers were instructed to engage Union ministers and officials to secure allocations for Andhra Pradesh during the Budget presentation.
- Session priorities include special packages for North Andhra and Rayalaseema, the Purvodaya scheme, and the Polavaram–Nallamala Sagar projects.
