- District Police Training Centres opened courses on December 22 for the new cohort of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables.
- In Chittoor, 139 trainees reported for residential training, including 61 from Srikakulam and 78 from Vizianagaram.
- Medical examinations were conducted on the first day to assess physical and mental fitness of all recruits.
- In Anantapur, DIG Dr. Shemushi inaugurated the programme for 692 trainees drawn from Visakhapatnam, Prakasam, West Godavari, Guntur, Vijayawada City and SPSR Nellore.
- Senior officers emphasized discipline, service orientation, weapon handling and legal literacy, while ordering upgrades to barracks, drill grounds, gyms and other facilities.
