Andalusia and Murcia Open 2026–27 School Admissions as Class Sizes Are Cut to 22

Deadlines fall on March 18 in Murcia versus March 31 in Andalusia.

  • Murcia opened applications for Infant, Primary, ESO, and Bachillerato with 53,378 places available and a submission window from February 27 to March 18.
  • Murcia begins the class-size reduction in first year of Primary next term, lowering the cap from 25 to 22 students, while adding 300 free places for ages 0–3 and maintaining more than 9,000 free places for ages 2–3.
  • Murcia allows in-person or online filings via the regional e-office using procedures 545 (Infant 0–3), 1910 (Infant 3–6 and Primary), and 2214 (ESO and Bachillerato), with tie-break letters set to BR and provisional and final lists scheduled from mid-May to late June.
  • Andalusia opens the process this Sunday with 1,373,541 publicly funded seats, including 81,686 for three-year-olds, with applications closing on March 31.
