Amritsar Police Arrest Three in Cross-Border Drug-and-Arms Bust

Early leads point to Pakistan-based handlers using drone drops.

  • Amritsar Commissionerate Police said Thursday they detained three men from Sahanke village after an intelligence-led operation.
  • The accused were identified as Sukhwinder Singh alias Sukha, 21, Sola Singh alias Sonu, 29, and Karan Singh, 22.
  • Officers first recovered one .30-bore pistol, then seized 915 grams of methamphetamine and four more pistols based on the suspects' disclosure.
