AmEx Opens Sidecar, a 33-Seat Micro-Lounge at Las Vegas' Harry Reid Airport

Built for quick stops, the speakeasy-style space responds to AmEx data showing many Centurion visits last an hour or less.

Overview

  • The inaugural Sidecar location opened near Gate D1 at LAS and operates daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., making AmEx the first to run two branded lounges at the airport.
  • Entry follows Centurion Lounge eligibility with a strict window limited to departures within 90 minutes of boarding time.
  • Delta SkyMiles Reserve cardholders may enter only when flying on Delta that day with the ticket purchased on the Reserve card.
  • Food and drinks are ordered by QR code and delivered by servers, featuring rotating small plates from The Culinary Collective, craft cocktails, and a wine list curated by Helen Johannesen.
  • Guest access mirrors Centurion pricing at $50 for adults and $30 for minors unless the cardholder meets a $75,000 annual spend threshold, with a new rule taking effect July 8, 2026 requiring guests to be on the same flight as the cardmember.
