AmEx and ALL Accor Announce Global Loyalty Partnership

The deal will let eligible AmEx Platinum cardholders match to ALL Accor Gold and transfer Membership Rewards points to Accor’s loyalty program, with country-by-country rollouts and rates to follow later this year.

Overview

  • American Express and ALL Accor publicly confirmed a global partnership in late July that introduces elite status matching and a new option to transfer Membership Rewards points into the ALL Accor program.
  • Eligible American Express Consumer, SBS and Corporate Platinum cardholders will be able to map their AmEx status to ALL Accor Gold, which includes free Wi‑Fi, welcome amenities, late check-out, potential room upgrades, and bonus ALL Accor points subject to program terms.
  • The partnership will roll out in phases across 12 markets — including Canada, France, the UK, Japan and Australia — and transferred points will be redeemable across Accor’s 45+ brands and more than 110 partners.
  • Companies confirmed conversion ratios will vary by market and gave no firm launch dates; Canadian coverage reported one example rate of 1,000 Membership Rewards points for 500 ALL Accor points but said official country-specific details and enrollment mechanics will be published later in 2026.
  • Industry observers say the tie-up follows a trend of deeper integrations between card issuers and hotel groups and could change where premium cardholders redeem points by boosting Accor’s appeal for higher‑spending travelers.
