Overview
- The 52nd AMAs start tonight at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas with Queen Latifah serving as host and the ceremony available live on CBS and Paramount+ Premium.
- Taylor Swift leads the field with eight nominations, while Morgan Wallen, Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter and Sombr each received seven nominations for top awards such as Artist, Album and Song of the Year.
- A broad roster of performers and honorees will appear, including Billy Idol receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, Karol G honored as International Artist of Excellence, Darius Rucker accepting the Veterans Voice Award and a special appearance by BTS.
- The AMAs base nominations on Billboard/Luminate sales, streaming, airplay and touring data and determine winners by fan vote, with most category voting already closed and remaining votes for Social Song and Tour accepted online or on Instagram through the show’s first 30 minutes.
- Held on Memorial Day and produced by Dick Clark Productions, the AMAs mix legacy acts and current stars and provide live national access for cord-cutters via live-TV streamers that carry local CBS feeds as well as Paramount+ live streaming for Premium subscribers.
