- Live voting opened with the March 16 East Coast broadcast and closes at 4 a.m. MDT on March 17, with a second window running during the March 23 episode until 4 a.m. MDT on March 24.
- Fans can vote at AmericanIdol.com/Vote, by texting a contestant’s number to 21523, or by commenting on official Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok voting posts.
- Voters may cast up to 10 votes per contestant per method, with eligibility rules requiring at least 16 years old in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands for ABC.com and 18 years old in the U.S. for social platforms.
- The Top 20 round was filmed at Aulani in Hawai‘i with mentoring from Brad Paisley and Keke Palmer, who also guest-judges, and performances from Season 21 winner Iam Tongi and finalist Thunderstorm Artis.
- Part 1 featured performances from Jake Thistle, Braden Rumfelt, Brooks Rosser, Kyndal Inskeep, Daniel Stallworth, Genevieve Heyward, Hannah Harper, Makiyah, Jesse Findling, and Kutter Bradley as voting helps set the Top 14.
