American Airlines to Open Provisions Grab-and-Go Lounge at JFK Terminal 8

The 3,700-square-foot outpost will provide Lavazza barista drinks, hot and cold grab-and-go food, and staffed customer support to speed short visits.

Overview

  • American Airlines announced Tuesday that it will open a Provisions by Admirals Club grab-and-go lounge in Terminal 8 at JFK with an expected opening by the end of 2026.
  • The purpose-built 3,700-square-foot space will sit on Concourse B between gates 12 and 14 and is designed to hold roughly 40 guests for quick stops.
  • Guests will be able to order made-to-order Lavazza hot and iced coffee from a dedicated barista bar and choose from hot and cold packaged meals with a breakfast service through 11 a.m.
  • Entry will follow standard Admirals Club rules so members, eligible Citi/AAdvantage cardholders, qualifying premium-cabin passengers and day-pass buyers can use the space and visits will count against any card-issued annual passes.
  • The JFK Provisions expands a concept first tried in Charlotte in 2025 and is meant to ease crowding in full Admirals Clubs, bring faster service closer to gates and help American court short-connection and premium travelers.
