Amazon Relaunches Luna Inside Prime With GameNight and 50+ Streaming Games

Prime integration turns Luna into a low-friction perk built around phone-controlled local play.

Overview

  • The redesigned cloud service is live at no extra cost for Prime members in the U.S., UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Portugal, Belgium and Luxembourg.
  • GameNight offers more than 25 local multiplayer titles that use a smartphone as the controller via a QR code, including reworked party staples like The Jackbox Party Pack 9 and Angry Birds.
  • Amazon Game Studios debuts an exclusive launch title, Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg, described as an AI-powered, voice-driven improv courtroom game.
  • Prime’s 50+ game library adds recent releases such as Hogwarts Legacy, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and TopSpin 2K25, while non-GameNight titles still require a controller and may encounter typical cloud-streaming buffering.
  • A paid Luna Premium tier replaces Luna+ for about $10 per month, expanding access with games like EA Sports FC 25, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Batman: Arkham Knight across Fire TV, mobile devices, web browsers and select LG and Samsung TVs.
