- The service is currently live in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru, and the rollout will add cities such as Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad.
- Amazon said Prime members who start using Now have tripled their shopping frequency, pointing to strong demand for fast delivery of groceries and daily essentials.
- The expansion will integrate more than 16,000 farmers into Amazon’s supply chain, letting them sell produce to customers through sellers on the platform.
- The move intensifies competition with Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto and Flipkart Minutes, with reports putting Blinkit near 50% share and Flipkart Minutes at about 800 dark stores targeting 1,200 by 2026.
