  • Advance sign-ups open April 15 at 554 designated bank branches across India under the Shrine Board’s plan.
  • Permits will be issued after real-time Aadhaar biometric verification with a webcam photo fallback if biometrics fail.
  • Banks will verify a Compulsory Health Certificate dated on or after April 8 and collect a fee of Rs 150 per permit.
  • Only people aged 13 to 70 can register, and women beyond six weeks of pregnancy are not allowed to undertake the yatra.
  • Permits are first-come under fixed daily quotas by route, registration for a chosen date closes seven days earlier, and each permit lists the specific day to cross the Domel or Chandanwari gate.
