All 6 Victims in Bangor Private Jet Crash Officially Identified

  • Maine’s medical examiner confirmed Shawna Collins, 53, and Nick Mastracusa, 43, completing identifications after earlier confirmations of Tara Arnold, 46, Jacob Hosmer, 47, Shelby Kuyawa, 34, and Jorden Reidel, 33.
  • The Bombardier Challenger 600 crashed during takeoff on Jan. 25 at Bangor International Airport, came to rest inverted, and caught fire, killing four passengers and two crew members.
  • The aircraft departed Houston bound for Paris-Vatry and stopped in Bangor to refuel, where it also received de-icing services before the attempted departure.
  • Registration records show the jet is owned by KTKJ Challenger LLC at the address of Houston law firm Arnold & Itkin, and several victims had roles with the Arnolds’ luxury concierge venture, Beyond.
  • The FAA and NTSB continue their probe of flight data and cockpit recordings, weather, and de-icing timelines, with a preliminary factual report expected in about a month.
