Alien Pizza Planet Reopens Walk-Up Service as App Switches to Family-Size Orders

The change shifts single-serving orders back to in-restaurant kiosks while the Disneyland app limits mobile ordering to whole-pizza family meals.

Overview

  • Disney removed Alien Pizza Planet’s standard mobile-order page on May 20 and introduced an "Alien Pizza Planet Express" listing that by May 21 coincided with the return of in-person kiosks and counter lines.
  • The app’s Express menu now offers only family-style 16-inch pizzas and combo meals, with reported options including whole pepperoni and whole cheese family meals that come with sides and drinks.
  • Guests who want individual slices, pasta, salads, sides, drinks, or other single-serving items must order at kiosks inside the restaurant and pay at separate check-out lines.
  • This operational rollback is limited to Alien Pizza Planet; other quick-service locations across Disneyland Resort continue to offer full mobile-order menus through the Disneyland app.
  • Alien Pizza Planet had operated mainly via mobile ordering since the park reopened after the COVID-19 shutdown, and this change restores the pre-2020 counter-service flow while keeping a narrowed mobile option for groups.
