Overview
- Tempo International GmbH issued a Europe-wide recall of Ambiano rechargeable mixers because batteries may overheat during charging and potentially cause fires.
- The mixers were sold from January 5 to February 23, 2026 at Aldi Nord, Aldi Süd and Hofer, and the product has been removed from sale.
- The products carried different names by chain—Aufladbarer Standmixer at Aldi Nord and Tragbarer Mixer Premium at Aldi Süd—with GTINs listed for Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Switzerland and Italy.
- Customers are told to stop using the affected units and can return them at Aldi or Hofer for a full refund without a receipt.
- The supplier set up a hotline (00800 333 00 666, weekdays 8:00–18:30) and email (teg.info@tempo.org) for inquiries, and reports so far do not cite any incidents or injuries.
