Aldi Recalls 'All Seasons 8 Herbs' Frozen Mix Over STEC Contamination

Routine testing found toxin-producing E. coli in select batches after a recent Salmonella recall of the same product.

Overview

  • Clama, which announced the recall Wednesday on the official portal Lebensmittelwarnung.de, withdrew 75 g packs with best-before dates 05/12/2027, 08/12/2027, and 10/02/2028.
  • The mix was sold nationwide at Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd, and customers can return it to any store for a full refund without a receipt.
  • Tests detected Shiga toxin–producing E. coli (also called EHEC), which can cause severe diarrhea, vomiting, fever, stomach cramps, and in rare cases kidney failure through hemolytic-uremic syndrome.
  • People who ate the herbs and feel sick should seek medical care and mention a possible STEC infection, and CLAMA set up a free hotline at 0800-6648203 and the email kundenservice@clama-int.de.
  • The same All Seasons herb mix was recalled in December 2025 for Salmonella, a repeat that could trigger closer checks on the supplier’s safety controls.
