Overview
- Released on February 12, “Flags” previews War Child’s HELP(2) charity album for children affected by conflict, with outlets listing an early March release window that varies between March 2 and March 6.
- The track features contributions from Johnny Marr, Adrian Utley, Dave Okumu, Seye Adelekan and Femi Koleoso, alongside production by Damon Albarn, James Ford, Marta Salogni and Toby L.
- A 43‑piece children’s choir anchors the song, complemented by an all‑star vocal group including Jarvis Cocker, Carl Barât, Declan McKenna, English Teacher, Black Country, New Road, Marika Hackman and Rosa Walton.
- Jonathan Glazer’s accompanying studio clip was shot in part by children and the wider project integrates footage from Ukraine, Gaza, Yemen and Sudan to center young perspectives.
- HELP(2) was recorded largely in a single week at Abbey Road in November 2025, and Albarn also appears in the choir on Pulp’s unreleased contribution titled “Begging For Change.”
