Overview
- Alaska will open the new Portland lounge on June 4, 2026, after more than two years of construction.
- The roughly 14,000 square foot space is about twice the size of the prior PDX lounge and offers more than 200 seats with Pacific Northwest design touches including a wooden Mount Hood mural.
- Amenities include barista‑style coffee, West Coast cocktails, fresh local food, private booths, ample power outlets, workspaces and distinct relaxation areas.
- Access will be granted to Alaska Lounge and Lounge+ members, eligible First Class passengers and qualifying oneworld and partner airline travelers.
- The project cost nearly $18 million and is the first in a broader rollout that Alaska says will include a 41,000+ square foot Seattle flagship in 2027 and new or expanded lounges in San Diego and Honolulu by early 2028 while supporting rapid seat and route growth at Portland.
