Overview
- Alaska introduced its first International Business Class on 787-9 Dreamliners, with Seattle–Rome starting April 28, Seattle–London on May 21, and Seattle–Incheon later in 2026.
- The suites provide privacy doors and direct aisle access in a 1-2-1 layout, plus 18-inch HD screens, wireless charging, power outlets, and noise-reducing headsets.
- The 787-9s carrying the new cabin were retrofitted from jets gained in the 2024 Hawaiian Airlines merger, and the configuration will be installed on all newly ordered 787-9s.
- Soft goods include Filson-designed bedding with a mattress pad, sleeping and lumbar pillows, an oversized duvet, Filson amenity kits stocked with Salt & Stone skincare, and a reusable PATH Water bottle.
- Meals feature a welcome cheese and charcuterie service, an expanded wine list with labels like Stag's Leap and Roederer Champagne, Stumptown coffee, route-specific entrées such as pollo ripieno or gochujang chicken, and a Salt & Straw dessert cart, with lounge access across Alaska and oneworld partners and Starlink Wi‑Fi scheduled on the 787‑9s this fall.
