Akshay Kumar Sells Two Borivali Flats for ₹7.1 Crore

Registered on June 2, the deal confirms the actor more than doubled his 2017 investment as it underlines strong demand for premium housing in Mumbai’s western suburbs.

Overview

  • Property registration records accessed by CRE Matrix show Akshay Kumar sold two Oberoi Sky City flats in Borivali East for a combined ₹7.10 crore.
  • The larger unit of 1,101 sq ft sold for ₹5.75 crore with two car parks and ₹28.75 lakh in stamp duty while the 252 sq ft unit sold for ₹1.35 crore with one car park and ₹6.75 lakh in stamp duty.
  • Both transactions were registered on June 2, 2026, and list Suvarna Rupeshkumar Sakpal as the buyer, according to multiple media reports citing the registry documents.
  • Kumar originally bought the two units from Incline Realty Pvt Ltd in November 2017 for about ₹3 crore and ₹67.55 lakh, so the sales represent more than a twofold gain on his combined outlay.
  • The deals add to a string of recent Mumbai property sales by the actor and spotlight continued price appreciation and buyer interest in Borivali and other western suburbs.
