Aizawl Civic Polls Set for April 21 With 68 Candidates and Strong Women’s Presence

• The candidate list, confirmed Monday after no withdrawals, stands at 68 with 28 women contesting across 19 wards.
• The ZPM, MNF and Congress each fielded 19 candidates, while the BJP named 11, setting up contests in every ward.
• More than 2.37 lakh people are eligible to vote, including about 1.28 lakh women, and counting is scheduled for April 27.
