Overview
- The two airlines announced a booking-and-baggage interline on 8 July that puts itineraries on sale linking Air Premia’s Seoul services with more than 120 Southwest destinations via LAX, SFO and HNL.
- The agreement is an interline rather than a codeshare, so tickets and checked-bag transfers are handled on a single reservation but there is no reciprocal frequent‑flyer mileage accrual between the carriers.
- Passengers arriving in the U.S. on Air Premia must clear U.S. customs and reclaim checked bags at their first port of entry at LAX, SFO or HNL before rechecking for Southwest connections, while Southwest-to-Air Premia connections can have bags checked through to Korea.
- The deal gives Air Premia an affordable way to reach U.S. cities with little or no nonstop service from Korea, including Las Vegas, Chicago Midway, Houston Hobby, Phoenix, Denver, Portland and Nashville, improving onward options for travelers.
