- Air India announced Wednesday that it will deploy a factory‑fresh Boeing 787‑9 on the Delhi–Toronto route from August 1, replacing the older 777‑300ER.

- Under the revised schedule the daily service will operate as flight AI187 departing Delhi at 1:45 a.m. and arriving Toronto at 9:30 a.m., with AI188 leaving Toronto at 12:30 p.m. and reaching Delhi at 2:05 p.m. the next day.
- The Dreamliner will introduce Air India’s three‑class cabin on the Canada route with 30 Business suites, 28 Premium Economy seats and 238 Economy seats, making Premium Economy available on Canadian services for the first time.
