Overview
- Air India Express completed the phased return of its Gulf services by resuming Kozhikode–Salalah on July 2, Kozhikode–Kuwait on July 3 and Bengaluru–Kuwait on July 4.
- Kozhikode–Salalah will operate twice weekly while the Kuwait sectors start with one weekly flight and expand to three weekly services in early July.
- All flights to and from Kuwait will use Terminal 4 at Kuwait International Airport and tickets are available through the airline’s website, mobile app and authorised agents.
- With Salalah back on the map the carrier now serves two airports in Oman (Muscat and Salalah) and says its West Asia network covers 13 destinations with roughly 780 weekly flights linking 18 Indian cities.
- The restorations follow earlier suspensions caused by regional airspace restrictions tied to recent conflicts and are expected to ease travel for large numbers of migrant workers and holiday travellers from Kerala and Karnataka.
