Aichi December Labour Data: Wages Up 2.0%, Overtime Rises, Employment Index Climbs

Overview
- Average regular monthly cash earnings reached ¥294,089, up 2.0% year on year for a 15th straight monthly gain.
- Prescribed overtime averaged 10.9 hours, a 0.9% annual increase and the first rise in two months.
- The regular employment index stood at 101.0 on a 2020=100 basis, 1.4% higher than a year earlier for a 28th consecutive increase.
