- AIADMK, which released its first slate Wednesday, named 23 candidates with 21 former ministers and re-nominated Edappadi K. Palaniswami in his Edappadi seat.
- The NDA seat-sharing plan gives AIADMK the bulk of constituencies while BJP gets 27, PMK 18 and T.T.V. Dhinakaran’s AMMK 11 as nomination filing opens March 30 and voting falls on April 23 with counting on May 4.
