Overview
- The ground-handling coach operated by Air India SATS ignited around midday on the airside of IGI Airport’s Terminal 3 near bay 32, a few metres from a parked Air India aircraft.
- The bus was stationary and unoccupied by passengers, with only the driver on board, and no injuries or damage to aircraft or facilities were reported.
- Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting teams, police, and CISF personnel contained the blaze within minutes, and Delhi Airport said operations remained normal.
