AI-Media Launches LEXI Text and Voice Encoders at NAB 2026

The launch signals a move to 4K-ready, AI-first broadcast workflows under a subscription model.

AI-Media, which on Tuesday at NAB Show 2026 unveiled its first new encoder hardware in more than a decade, introduced the LEXI Text and LEXI Voice models for live captioning and translation.
Both encoders add full 4K support over 12G-SDI connections, higher processing power, and LEXI Live Sync to keep captions and translations matched to video frames.
The LEXI Voice Encoder uses AI to separate speech from background noise to deliver cleaner audio for real-time multilingual voice translation.
The company is rolling out a Hardware-as-a-Subscription option across its encoder line with a limited three-month free offer to lower upfront costs.
Live demos run at Booth W2142 and through partner showcases with AudioShake, Grass Valley, and NVIDIA, alongside the broader LEXI Suite for captions, translation, audio description, and analytics.
