Ahmedabad Police Arrest Two Kota Absconders Linked to Godara Network After Seven-Hour Operation

The pair will be handed to Kota Police after Gujarat completes legal formalities.

Overview

  • Police identified the suspects as Aman alias Baccha (Ehsan Ali Sayyed), 25, and Suheb alias Chintu (Firoz Khan Pathan), 26, both residents of Kota district.
  • Officials said each has more than 20 cases on record, including organised extortion, attempted murder, targeted shootings and Arms Act violations.
  • Crime Branch officers said the men had come to Ahmedabad to set up an extortion racket and identify local targets before a network was established.
  • The arrests followed a seven-hour, intelligence-led operation that included a car chase between Vasna and Vejalpur, according to investigators.
  • Police are examining links to the Ravi/Rohit Godara network, a recently acquired car and potential local handlers, with coordination ongoing with Rajasthan authorities.
