- Adobe published Premiere mobile to the Google Play Store on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, and the app provides core editing free without a forced login, ads, or watermarks.
- The free tools include a multi-track timeline, Enhance Audio one-tap noise reduction, creator templates, effects and up to 4K export for finished videos.
- Generative features use Adobe Firefly and other models and run on a credit system that comes with a limited free allotment and paid tiers (reports note about 250 free credits per month and an option for roughly 1,200 credits at an annual/ monthly price).
- The app requires Android 13 or later and about 5 GB of RAM, and Adobe says it is optimized for varied form factors including foldables and Googlebook laptops while stopping short of full desktop Premiere Pro parity.
- Adobe positions Premiere mobile as the successor to Premiere Rush with Rush support ending Sept. 30, and it is rolling out region-specific tools and a roadmap (desktop project handoff, Adobe Fonts, enhanced captions, beat detection) aimed especially at mobile-first markets such as India.
