Overview
- AdHoc published the HR Violations Pack as patch 1.000.012 on June 17, adding a Partial Coverage option that restores breasts, buttocks and obscene gestures for many Switch regions.
- The update introduces three selectable censorship styles — Mosaic, Chaotic, and Blackout — and places the controls in Game Menu > General Settings > Filters with the Switch DLC available through the Nintendo eShop.
- Regional rules differ: North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand can pick Partial or Full coverage, while Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea and Southeast Asia are restricted to Full Coverage on Switch.
- AdHoc apologized for shipping a single, more censored Switch build because of launch time and resource limits and said some elements remain blocked by Nintendo’s requirements, including genitals and the Invisigal dream audio.
- PS5 and PC received the optional filters while keeping uncensored defaults outside Japan, Xbox will gain the options when its release arrives later this summer, and the update leaves Switch builds unable to fully match other platforms.
