Adare Residents Get Two Free Ryder Cup Tickets as Organisers Ringfence Local Access

The move seeks to include locals following an Irish-only sale that sold out at €499 per day.

Overview

  • Ryder Cup Europe confirmed Wednesday that every household in Adare has been offered two complimentary tickets usable on any day from Tuesday to Sunday in 2027.
  • Organisers set aside a daily pool of resident tickets on a first-come, first-served basis and gave locals the option to buy extra seats for family and friends.
  • An Ireland-only early sale last week saw general admission at €499 sell out in under an hour, with practice-day (€89) and weekly (€1,999) tickets gone in under four hours after more than 150,000 pre-registered.
  • Fans who missed early access can enter a global public ballot opening on 3 June, while the tournament is scheduled for 17–19 September 2027 at Adare Manor in County Limerick.
  • The letter to residents, signed by Chief Ryder Cup Officer Richard Atkinson, says organisers aim to deliver economic benefits and will work to limit disruption that locals expect from road changes and construction, a gesture local councillors welcomed.
