Overview
- Adani Power received a Letter of Award from MSEDCL to supply 1,600 MW from an upcoming ultra-supercritical plant starting in FY2030-31.
- The company was the lowest-tariff bidder in the tender, quoting a combined tariff of Rs 5.30 per kWh.
- The contract includes a pre-determined coal linkage intended to secure long-term fuel supply for the project.
- With this deal, Adani Power reports 13.3 GW of long-term PSAs tied up out of a 23.8 GW under-implementation pipeline.
- The company is executing a plan to expand capacity from 18.15 GW to 41.87 GW by FY31-32 with about Rs 2 lakh crore of investment, after winning five PSA bids totaling 10,400 MW in FY25-26.
