Activision to Shut Down Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile on April 17

Activision says the title fell short with mobile-first players.

Overview

  • Players who already downloaded the game can keep playing until servers go offline on April 17, 2026.
  • The app was delisted in May 2025, when seasonal content, gameplay updates, social features, and real-money purchases were halted.
  • Refunds will not be issued for prior purchases or unused COD Points, and Activision urges players to spend remaining currency before shutdown.
  • Existing Activision accounts stay valid across the franchise, and some Warzone Mobile items can carry over to the core Warzone.
  • Activision is steering players to Call of Duty: Mobile, which will continue receiving seasonal content and updates, following Warzone Mobile’s March 2024 launch and reported 50 million pre-registrations.
