Overview
- Agreements were signed by the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority and the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre with Aldar, Bloom, Modon, Wahat Al Zaweya and Imkan to deliver the developments.
- The programme funds 25,244 housing units over five years at Dh94 billion plus 14,876 residential plots at Dh12 billion.
- Six communities in Abu Dhabi city will provide 14,444 units at Dh55.38 billion, five in Al Ain will add 10,480 units at Dh36.95 billion, and two in Al Dhafra will deliver 320 homes at Dh1.59 billion.
- The new neighbourhoods are planned as integrated, sustainable communities with schools, mosques, parks, retail space and sports facilities.
- With these agreements, the authority’s pipeline reaches about 45,000 homes and plots targeted for completion by 2029, addressing demand in an emirate whose population topped 4.1 million.
