Aave V4 Opens First Externally Curated Markets Led by Sentora

It lets an independent curator set collateral, rate curves, price oracles, liquidation rules under Aave DAO oversight with a 48-hour timelock

Overview

  • Aave V4’s first externally curated markets are live on Ethereum and available through Aave Pro, with Sentora operating three separate lending spokes that draw liquidity from a dedicated Sentora Liquidity Hub.
  • The three active markets let users borrow RLUSD, PYUSD or OUSD using specific collateral sets; two yield markets accept USDe, PRIME, mWIN and PST while a Bluechip market accepts kBTC as collateral for stablecoin loans.
  • Sentora configures market-level rules including which collateral is allowed, interest rate curves, price oracles and liquidation parameters while Aave DAO retains ownership of the contracts and enforces governance review for new assets.
  • Aave V4’s Hub-and-Spoke design keeps liquidity and accounting in shared Hubs while isolating borrower positions and risk controls inside individual Spokes so one market’s losses cannot automatically merge with another’s.
  • Sentora says it has deployed over $2 billion across onchain strategies and published a Risk Radar for block-level analytics; a planned PYUSD Yield spoke and a separate Babylon Labs proposal to permit native‑Bitcoin-backed borrowing remain under Aave governance review.
