Aave Labs Secures UK FCA Registration for Push Subsidiaries

The registrations give Push a regulatory base to offer fee-free fiat-to-stablecoin rails in the UK.

Overview

  • Push Labs Ltd. and Push Virtual Assets Ltd. were registered by the Financial Conduct Authority as cryptoasset exchange providers on Thursday, May 28, 2026, placing them under the UK’s anti-money-laundering rules.
  • The UK registrations stack on Push’s existing Electronic Money Institution authorization and an earlier Irish CASP/MiCA approval that enables passporting into the European Economic Area.
  • The Aave DAO approved a funding package called “Aave Will Win” that allocates $25 million in stablecoins and 75,000 AAVE tokens to back Aave Labs’ Push operations over coming years.
  • Aave Labs says the permissions underpin plans to build regulated, non-custodial stablecoin on‑ and off‑ramp services marketed as zero-fee conversions between bank accounts and on‑chain stablecoins, which the company frames as a way to cut user friction.
  • The move ties corporate Push products to DAO funding and could make DeFi rails more accessible to retail and institutional users, but it raises governance questions about how DAO resources will interact with regulated corporate operations.
