9-Year-Old Girl Dies After Milwaukee Shooting

With no suspects in custody, police are asking the public to submit tips through Milwaukee Police and Crime Stoppers.

A 9-year-old child was shot late last week on Milwaukee’s north side near E. Burleigh and N. Richards and was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Investigators confirmed the child died from those injuries on Tuesday and family members have identified her as Jade Riser.
Milwaukee Police say they do not yet know what led up to the shooting and that no arrests have been made as the probe remains active.
