Overview
- The victim was identified as Enrique G., a 78-year-old architect from La Hayuela who had been hired as an extra for La bola negra.
- He fell on September 1 on a staircase in a non-rehabilitated area of the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas campus, suffering severe head trauma.
- An ambulance took him to the Torrelavega hospital and he was transferred to Hospital Marqués de Valdecilla, where he died on September 4.
- The production company Los Esquiadores AIE says he had completed makeup and wardrobe but had not begun filming, and that the staircase had lighting, signage, a handrail, and required step width used by many that day.
