Officials opened inquiries after preliminary tests found no contamination.

  • At MPPS Chandra Naik Thanda, 44 students fell ill after a sweet served with the mid-day meal, with 38 treated at Area Hospital Kondapur and six admitted to a private hospital.
  • The six students admitted to the corporate hospital were expected to be discharged on December 13, and doctors said the remaining children were stable or already recovering.
