41-Year-Old Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Telegraph Road in Monroe Township

• Troopers were called around 6:32 p.m. on Feb. 6 to South Telegraph Road near East Dunbar Road for a vehicle–pedestrian collision.
• Medical personnel tried to resuscitate the 41-year-old Newport woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
• Investigators noted dark conditions without nearby streetlights on a heavily traveled stretch of Telegraph Road.
• The driver is not suspected of intoxication, according to the Michigan State Police.
