Overview
- Police were called to Cotton End Road at about 10:22 p.m. on Friday after a collision involving a Vauxhall Astra and a Volkswagen Touran.
- The Volkswagen driver, aged 40, was declared dead at the scene.
- A male passenger in the Volkswagen and a passenger in the Vauxhall suffered serious injuries and remain in hospital, while the Vauxhall driver has minor injuries.
- Suffolk Police, Suffolk Fire and Rescue, the East Anglian ambulance service and an air ambulance attended.
- The stretch between Landwade Road and Red House Stud was shut overnight and reopened by 9:15 a.m., and officers are appealing for information or dash-cam footage quoting 37/60742/25 via 101 or online.
