3 Teens Wounded in Two Overnight Shootings in Chicago’s Austin Neighborhood

Police say the cases remain open with no suspects named.

  • In a later incident inside an apartment on the 5400 block of West End, officers found a 17-year-old with chest and back wounds and performed life-saving measures before transport to Mt. Sinai in critical condition.
  • Area Four detectives are investigating both shootings, and police have not announced arrests or identified who opened fire.
