21-Year-Old Killed in Single-Vehicle Motorcycle Crash in Carver County

Sheriff's investigators are seeking tips from the public to help determine what caused the crash.

Overview

  • A motorcycle traveling south on County Road 51 north of Highway 212 left the roadway, crashed and ejected its lone rider, deputies said Sunday morning.
  • The rider was identified by the Carver County Sheriff’s Office as 21-year-old Ryan Christopher Miller of Waconia and was found dead at the scene.
  • Carver County deputies were first on scene around 9 a.m., and Ridgeview Ambulance, the Norwood Young America Fire Department and the Minnesota State Patrol assisted.
