2-Year-Old at Center of Los Angeles Amber Alert Found Safe

Police activated an Amber Alert after 2-year-old Jax Robottom was last seen near Figueroa Street and Slauson Avenue in South Los Angeles at about 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Authorities identified 33-year-old Marcus Clayton as the person believed to be with the child, but investigators have not confirmed any relationship between Clayton and Jax.
The California Highway Patrol, acting for the LAPD, released photos of the child and the suspect and urged anyone who sees them to call 911.
