Overview
- A large residential fire at 4723 W. Fulton St. spread to two neighboring houses in West Garfield Park on Chicago’s West Side.
- The Chicago Fire Department called a 2-11 alarm, which brings at least eight engines, four trucks, two tower ladders and about 100 firefighters.
- CBS Skywatch video showed the back of one house burned down to its support beams, with another home on the block charred.
- Video captured bystanders as Deno Conley ran inside to check that families were out, and he said his O’Hare security training prepared him to help.
- No injuries were reported, and officials have not released a cause or said whether anyone was inside when the fire began.
